Our mission statement: We collect the best seed we can find and sow in recycled plug trays. We grow in environmentally favorable conditions using only the finest local spring water in the Test Valley. We then transplant our healthy seedlings into 9cm x 9cm x 10cm recycled square pots where they are nurtured to perfection, only being watered with fresh water, no chemicals, no pesticides. Around week 6 we then feed the Happy Herbs with an organic sea weed extract and in the following week or two the Herbs are ready for purchase by you. Our square pots hold much more compost than round pots of the same diameter so therefore our Herbs have a bigger and stronger root system which makes for a bigger and stronger plant. Simple.
We are a young and friendly small business, specialising in the finest herbs for the discerning gardener. We pride ourselves upon the quality and variety of the herbs we offer which are grown mostly in 9 cm pots (some in 1 larger pots). The key to our success is the fact that our herbs are grown outdoors so they are hardened off at the outset. No cellophane pouches here!

Re-cycling is very important... and you know that. Our pots are recycled and recyclable and so are our bags, and that is good... right?
Return your pots to us and we can keep our prices lower. That's good too...surely!
